竹書紀年

テンプレート:Wikisourcelang テンプレート:Wikisourcelang 竹書紀年（ちくしょきねん）とは、中国の編年体の歴史書。伝説時代から魏の襄王に至るまでを著述している。作者は不明。

この書物は漢代には既に散逸していたが、西晋の279年に現在の河南省にあった魏の襄王の墓を盗掘した際に大量の文字を記した竹簡が出土し、整理した中の一つがこの本である。竹に書かれていたことから『竹書紀年』の名がある。

『史記』などには登場しないエピソードも見えており、またこの書物を元に『史記』の年表における誤りの修正が為されている。

北宋代には再び散逸し、はるか後世の中華民国の時代になってから唐の司馬貞の『史記索隠』から引用された文献から『竹書紀年』を復元する試みが行われ、大きな成果を上げ、現在でも続いている。

明代に別の『竹書紀年』が出現したが、これは偽作であり、本来の方を「古本」・偽作のほうを「今本」と呼んでいる。
