ハロルド・ニコルソンとヴィタ・サックヴィル＝ウェストのブルー・プラーク。

ハロルド・ジョージ・ニコルソン（Sir Harold George Nicolson, KCMG, 1886年 11月21日 - 1968年 5月1日）は、イギリスの外交官、歴史家。外交に関する著作のほか、ポール・ヴェルレーヌやバイロンなど作家や詩人の評伝も多数著した。

テヘラン生まれ。オックスフォード大学ベリオール校卒業後、イギリス外務省に入省し、1929年まで勤務。その間、パリ講和会議にイギリス代表団の一員として参加。1935年から1945年までイギリス下院議員を務めた。

著書『外交』において、公開外交や外交の民主化によって世論の影響力が強まる状況にあって、外交の立法的側面（政策決定）と執行的側面（交渉）を区別し、後者については専門家に任せる必要を説いた。

1953年に、ナイトとなる。ブルームズベリー・グループの文人とも交流を重ねる知識人だった。

父は外務事務次官を務めたアーサー・ニコルソン。妻は詩人・作家のヴィタ・サックヴィル＝ウェスト。長男ベネディクトは芸術史研究者、次男ナイジェルは作家。
