ロバート・パットナム

ロバート・パットナム（テンプレート:Lang-en-short、1940年1月9日 -）は、アメリカの政治学者。ハーバード大学ケネディスクール教授。

ニューヨーク州ロチェスターで生まれ、オハイオ州で育つ。スワースモア大学およびオックスフォード大学で学び、1970年、イェール大学より博士号取得。ミシガン大学教授を経て、1979年からハーバード大学で教鞭をとる。2001年から2002年にかけてアメリカ政治学会会長を務めた。2006年、ヨハン・スクデ政治学賞を受賞。

アメリカにおける共同体の衰退を論じた Bowling Alone. は大きな反響を巻き起こした。ソーシャル・キャピタルの概念の提唱者でもある。
