'''ポール・マイケル・ケネディ'''（Paul Michael Kennedy, [[1945年]] - ）は、[[英国]]の[[歴史学者]]。[[イェール大学]][[歴史学部]][[教授]]・同大学国際安全保障研究所所長。専門は[[軍事史]]、外交史。

[[イングランド]]の[[タイン・アンド・ウィア]]に生まれる。[[ニューカッスル大学 (イングランド)|ニューカッスル大学]]卒業後、[[1970年]]に[[オックスフォード大学]]で博士号を取得する。オックスフォード大学での指導教官は[[A・J・P・テイラー]]と[[ジョン・ギャラガー]]だった。1970年から1983年まで[[イースト・アングリア大学]]歴史学部に所属し、[[1983年]]からイェール大学で教鞭をとる。

王立歴史協会の[[フェロー]]であり、[[プリンストン高等研究所]]の客員研究員や[[ロンドン・スクール・オブ・エコノミクス]]の教授を務めたこともある。

著書『[[大国の興亡]]』は、世界的なベストセラーとなった。
