'''アーネスト・メイ'''（Ernest Richard May, [[1928年]][[11月19日]] - [[2009年]][[6月1日]]）は、[[アメリカ合衆国]]の[[政治学者]]、[[歴史学者]]。[[ハーヴァード大学]][[ケネディスクール|ケネディ行政大学院]][[教授]]。専門は、アメリカ外交史。

[[テキサス州]][[フォートワース]]生まれ。[[1948年]]に[[カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校]]を卒業後、[[1951年]]に同大学で博士号取得。その後、[[アメリカ海軍]]兵士として[[朝鮮戦争]]に従軍。[[統合参謀本部]]勤務、ハーヴァード大学歴史学部助教授を経て、[[1963年]]から同大学教授に就任。

[[マサチューセッツ州]][[ケンブリッジ (マサチューセッツ州)|ケンブリッジ]]にて80歳で死去。
